Disadvantages of Rooting your Android device

If you are reading this post then it is sure that you are confused whether to root your phone or not.  So by now you know that rooting is a very good process according to the developers but at some stages your device may come across several side effects after rooting your device. Rooting has enormous benefits, but the main motto of rooting your android devices are installing the third party applications that can make a several changes in your device properties.

Rooting your phone will definitely leads to voiding the warranty that is provided by the company. But still you can unroot your phone and then claim for your phone again. If your device was bricked after rooting your phone then the company won’t repair your phone or will charge a lot from you. So it is recommended to read more about rooting before rooting your device. Don’t worry about the warranty, there are many cases where the customers have claimed their warranty even after rooting their device. Many companies will provide Developer roms that has official root given by the company itself like miui developer roms. By using the developer roms you don’t have to worry about your device warranty, warranty can be claimed.

Rooting tutorial will always have a disclaimer part. Often it is not the tutorial but it is the person himself responsible for bricking his device. Do you know the meaning of “bricking”? It is a state reached when something goes wrong while bricking that your android is nothing more than a piece of brick. Being technical when your phone is not capable of performing boot action and just doesn’t respond to anything it is bricked.
Bricking an android phone can be due to many reasons, maybe due to skipping any step out of rooting tutorials or may be by using a corrupt tool. Bricking leads to make you buy a new phone.

This is not a major reason that affects you a lot, but we have to mention it. Since you are giving access to the system files by rooting anyone can easily add malicious files. Mostly the developer itself does this to monitor the people. You may download malicious custom roms or any app that contain virus without knowing.

Mostly your phone gets boosted after rooting but sometimes unfortunately it may also lower device’s performance. As you are using third party applications in your phone they may get struck at many places. Sometimes your phone won’t switch on, in that case you may have to flash your rom again. So be careful about it. If rooting works in your device flawlessly then there is no problem, if not then you may have to face a lot of problems. So if you notice that the performance of your device is lowered then quickly unroot your phone.

Remember when we are rooting the phone we are making changes in our stock android OS, ie, we are changing the input and output by Rooting.
